Path of Survivor – It seems easy, but after a while, you're constantly getting wiped out.

I tried Path of Survivor initially, thinking it was just a normal monster-dodging game. But after a few rounds, I realized… It's not simple at all.

It's a survival game: you stand in the middle of the map, and monsters keep coming at you. There are no breaks. The longer you survive, the more monsters there are, and the harder it gets to breathe.

Gameplay – simply put, it's very simple.

On PC:

  • W/A/S/D or arrow keys: move the character.
  • The character attacks automatically; you don't need to press attack buttons.
  • Moving is mainly for dodging monsters.

On mobile:

  • Hold and drag the screen: control the direction of movement.
  • Still auto-attacking; no complicated skill buttons.

In general, there are no complicated combos. You only control the direction of movement.

But the difficulty lies elsewhere.

The first few seconds are very easy. But after about 1-2 minutes, the pressure starts to build:

  • Monsters spawn more frequently.
  • Movement becomes restricted.
  • It's easy to get stuck in corners.

At this point, just running around isn't enough to survive. You have to pay attention to your path and leave space.

There are times when you think "I'm safe," but if you move even slightly off-center, you'll be surrounded.

Gameplay tips (based on experience from a few games):

  • Always move in circles: it's easier to maintain space.
  • Don't rush into the middle of a crowd even if you see loot.
  • Prioritize dodging first, then loot.
  • When it's too crowded, go around to the edge of the map for better breathing.

Most importantly, don't stand still. Standing still is the quickest way to get eliminated.

Why is this game so addictive?

The game isn't drawn out. You start playing immediately.

Each game usually doesn't last too long, but it's like:

"One more game, I'll probably survive longer."

→ then you lose again.

→ then you play again.

And so on.

There's no complicated storyline, but the feeling of trying to survive a few more seconds makes me want to keep replaying.

In conclusion:

Path of Survivor isn't a game you'll instantly fall in love with. But once you start playing, it's easy to stay longer than expected.

The controls are simple and don't require much learning. But surviving for a long time is not easy at all.

If you're looking for a light game that starts quickly, plays quickly, and loses quickly but still wants to keep playing, then this Hazmob FPS: Online Shooter is quite suitable.
