Undead Invasion
Undead Invasion – Shooting Zombies: Seemingly Chill, but the More You Play, the More Overwhelming It Becomes
When I first started playing Undead Invasion, I thought it was just a casual zombie shooting game. But after playing for a while, I realized it wasn't as "easy" as I thought.
Zombies appear constantly, and they get more numerous later on. Standing still for a few seconds means you'll be surrounded immediately.
Basic Gameplay
On PC:
- W / A / S / D: Move
- Left Mouse Button: Shoot
- R: Reload
- Space: Dodge / Move Quickly (depending on the version)
- 1 / 2: Change Weapon (if available)
On Mobile: Usually drag to move, auto-fire, or tap on the screen.
Nothing complicated, mainly just running and shooting.
The Difficulty Doesn't Lie in the Controls
This game is easy to understand, but the difficulty lies in:
- Zombies don't stand still
- They come from many directions
- Ammo is limited; you can't just shoot randomly
Sometimes, while you're dealing with the front, you're already surrounded from behind.
The Feeling While Playing
After a few minutes, you start to notice:
- The space for movement is narrowed
- You have to dodge and aim at the bullets at the same time
- One wrong move and you're surrounded
The longer you survive, the more tense it gets. There's no real break.
Why is the game so addictive
- Each round isn't too long
- If you lose, you have to re-enter immediately
- There's always that feeling of "almost surviving."
- You want to try again to do better
This type of game easily falls into a loop: lose → replay → lose again.
Tips to avoid "losing."
- Always keep moving, don't stand still
- Prioritize clearing escape routes over shooting a lot
- Time to reload when it's safe
- When there are too many zombies, run around to draw them out
Most importantly, don't panic. Panicking will easily get you stuck in corners.
Conclusion
Undead Invasion isn't a particularly new zombie game, but it's still addictive. Fast-paced, easy to get into, and doesn't require much learning. If you enjoy run-and-shoot gameplay that isn't too mentally demanding but still offers some pressure, then this game is pretty good to try.
